Oh Dear, Look Deer...

March 3, 2011

All fall/winter long I have been watching the deer around our town, wanting so badly for them to come by my house and just "hangout". We have had deer droppings, roses eaten (they had bloomed and died, so didn't mind). We also saw them on the other side of the fence in our neighbors yard. For me, that wasn't enough...I wanted them in my yard. One day the girls and I were home and I noticed the deer across the street from our house. I called the girls over, we watched and watched...and soon they roamed across the street into our yard, started eating the ivy in my flower beds. YAY, I wished they would have stayed and eaten the whole bush! I hate that thing and it is a pain in the butt to get rid of. Anyway, this is why we love it out here where we live. Wild life living in our yard!

Unfortunately we have raccoons now...Donovan found one in our garage and with planting our garden we have to be really careful and figure out how to get rid of the creatures. They are so stinkin cute, but such a menise and I am afraid of one of the girls coming across one and getting bit...need to deal with them soon!

Kenzie Loses Her 2nd Tooth...

FEB., 21, 2011

Kenzie lost her second tooth and was so excited about it...I'm not too sure if I am. The tooth fairy in our house is a little crazy I think. She has been handing my kids $5 bills ever since Ember started losing teeth. What was she thinking...is she rich or something?!? We still have so many teeth left in Kenzie's head and Ashlynn will be losing them soon as well. Oh-well, she has to deal with it, not me.

Ember in on the action!

Ashlynn loved it so much that Daddy made her one for her birthday!
Feb. 19, 2011

This was Donovan's Christmas present from me, I bought this 20oz hammack it's light and has a misquito net for when he goes on his back packing trip to the Uintas. He loved it and finally set it up to see just what it could do. Not only did Donovan love it, the girls did too. I'm glad it was such a hit and can't wait for him to actually use it on one of his adventures!

Ember's Riverton Halftime Performance...

Ember getting ready to perform.

The team with after their performance...they did a great job! Ember is sporting the attitude...

All with smiles!

Feb. 11, 2011

This was the first performance the team did before competitions started and for their first time out in front of a crowd they did a really good job. I am very proud of all their hard work...but I am most proud of Ember! She is the youngest on the team. When she joined she was 11 and the next age up was 13. Their group range from Ember, 11 to the oldest who is a senior in high school and is 17! What an accomplishment for Ember! Way to go Baby!
