FIRE!!!
This weekend was amazing weather, perfect for shooting. So as a family we decided it would be a great day to go out and shoot a little. We took the .22, Kenzie's little pink cricket .22 and the big dog, the M4. Donovan really wanted to make things a little more fun. So he said he would give a prize to whom ever could shoot the best. Kenzie did really well...first shoot with her .22, bulls eye! Way to go Kenz, the others were a little all over the place. However, she still hit the target each time and most were in the yellow and orange of the target...she is a great shooter.
Ember did really well shooting the .22. This time she tried to shoot the M4 for the first time. She did great! She hit the bulls eye twice! She is a great marksman. She really enjoyed shooting the M4, it doesn't have much of a kick so little petite girls like Ember won't get hurt or knocked over. Good thing.
Daddy shoot the .22 and the M4 and like always did really well. He is a great shooter.
Me-for not shooting for a couple years I was pretty impressed with myself. I actually won the prize. Wahoo! I shoot left handed, which is a little disadvantage and I was shooting at the bottom left with grass up through the target. I am still proud of myself, I had some bulls eyes, however, what I was most impressed with was my grouping. Ember, and Daddy had great grouping as well.
We had a lot of fun shooting and can't wait until Ash starts learning. We asked if she wanted to...she got a little scared at the last minute. So we will wait until next time, maybe she will be ready then.
