Notice in all the pics, her finger is not on the trigger until she is ready to shoot. So proud of her.
 Ready, aim...
 FIRE!!!

This weekend was amazing weather, perfect for shooting. So as a family we decided it would be a great day to go out and shoot a little. We took the .22, Kenzie's little pink cricket .22 and the big dog, the M4. Donovan really wanted to make things a little more fun. So he said he would give a prize to whom ever could shoot the best. Kenzie did really well...first shoot with her .22, bulls eye! Way to go Kenz, the others were a little all over the place. However, she still hit the target each time and most were in the yellow and orange of the target...she is a great shooter.

Ember did really well shooting the .22. This time she tried to shoot the M4 for the first time. She did great! She hit the bulls eye twice! She is a great marksman. She really enjoyed shooting the M4, it doesn't have much of a kick so little petite girls like Ember won't get hurt or knocked over. Good thing.

Daddy shoot the .22 and the M4 and like always did really well. He is a great shooter.

Me-for not shooting for a couple years I was pretty impressed with myself. I actually won the prize. Wahoo! I shoot left handed, which is a little disadvantage and I was shooting at the bottom left with grass up through the target. I am still proud of myself, I had some bulls eyes, however, what I was most impressed with was my grouping. Ember, and Daddy had great grouping as well.

We had a lot of fun shooting and can't wait until Ash starts learning. We asked if she wanted to...she got a little scared at the last minute. So we will wait until next time, maybe she will be ready then.

Finally Some Snow...

The girls with our two dogs (so they think). Plato and Tuko.
 Tuko

After his face plant. You can see his face all red from the snow.
Each one of the girls had an opportunity to pull Owen around on his sled. They all had a blast. We have been asking for snow for quite some time. Even though it wasn't a lot they still pulled on all their snow gear and headed out. The little girls wanted to pull Owen fast, and I kept saying slow down. Well when it was Ember's turn to pull Owen in the sled, I figured she knew not to take him fast. Well, I was wrong. Here are some pictures after his wipe out.

Ok, You Might Find that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Taking Pictures of these Animals...

Ember took this picture and the next.

Owen's First Time Sledding...

Owen had so much fun being pulled around on his sled by his big sister.

Some Pictures I Took...

Teaching Ember Photography...

Ember has always been interested in taking pictures. So being 13 now I decided it was about time...it also helps that she has an eye for it. For church there is also a Personal Progress goal that she wants to pass off. It is 10 hours of some kind of talent...so here is an hour worth so far. She is pretty good for her first time out. I can't wait to see what else she gets pictures of.
