Our first day in Boise, Idaho, I took the girls to a nearby park to play.

The Girls loved the neighbor cat.

See the light gray on the concrete, yes it was pouring down rain!
The girls were soaked!

The first day in Boise was all lined up for me and the Girls. We first went to the park and had a blast on all the toys, Ember however didn't like it, she kept saying it was too small. It was a big park with a little kids play area and one for Ember. Later that evening my Mom and I prepared for the BBQ we were having with my friend Mari from Anchorage. It had been about 15 years since we last saw each other. What a great reunion! The kids loved playing together. It was great seeing Mari, her family was so adorable. Until next time, take care!
The second day we woke up to a nice drizzle off and on. This day I had planned to meet up with BJ and his daughter so we could take all the kids to the zoo. When we arrived it was just a drizzle, however the longer we were there the stronger the rain came down! The girls were soaked, I was soaked! I was also in carpi's and flip-flops. We still had a great time despite the weather. Also all the big cats (lions, tigers and all the others) were very active, that was a lot of fun watching.
Third day was just like the other two days, busy and a lot of fun. I was able to get together with friends I went to Meridian High School with. Deanna (Young) and her 4 kids, Aubrey (Pollard) and 2 kids, Morgan (Jackson) and her 2 kids, Cara (Maxfield) and her 2 kids and last but not least me and my 3 girls! Unfortunately I brought my camera , however we talked the whole time and went it wa time to go most of the little once needed to just go and get naps. Sad no pictures. It was great seeing them after 11 years. They all looked amazing! After we had lunch I dropped Ember off at her Dad's and rested.
Then came the long drive home. Two kids and myself spell disaster! I had such a mentally and physically draining week that as I drove home I started feeling really tired! I actually had to stop at 4500 South in SLC for about a half hour just to re-alert myself. Make a long story longer, the trip was fun, eventful and we all made it home safe and sound!
We miss you Ember! We LOVE you too!!!
