Step #1: Getting the right cake pan. Perfect!

First attempt...won't even comment on that!
Second attempt! Perfect!

Step #6: Trying to get a good shot of the cake.
Good!

Step #7: Getting ready to blow out the candles. Perfect!

Step #8: Blowing out the candles on your child's favorite Princess.

Ashlynn's 4th Birthday Party...

Posted by Picasa

I thought it would be fun for Ashlynn to have a birthday party this year with some of her little pre-school friends. I am so glad I did. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast! As I was preparing everything for the party, Ashlynn came up to me, gave me a big hug and said "Mom, you're Awesome!" Ok, now that was the best "thank you" I could get from my girls.

The party was short (perfect for a 4 year old). However, it was packed with fun Easter themed activities.

As each girl was arriving they picked out their little goody basket with bunny ears. After that I painted their faces to transform them into little bunnies. Next, they painted their own little wooden eggs. They had a lot of fun and were so cute painting. To break things up a little I decided that it would be great to open presents before they started decorating their cupcakes.

After frosting their cupcakes and eating at least one and a lot of frosting, they were all done at the table. So, it was time just for them to play. I think for them that was the best part of the party. They played in the toy room, jumped around, screamed and just had a blast.

I am so happy that I was able to throw Ashlynn her very own little party. It was so great seeing her so happy and loving all her friends around.

A Birthday Trip To Toys R Us...

Ashlynn with her $3.00 Barbie!
I love the $3.00 off birthday coupons they get in the mail!

What a cute little birthday princess! I love Toys r Us. We walked in told the customer service gal it was Ashlynn's 4th birthday. She gave her a balloon, a birthday crown and announced over the intercom that it was Ashlynn's birthday and everyone say "Happy Birthday" to her! She was so excited.

Today on her birthday...
My 4 Year Old!
Happy Birthday Baby!
I can't believe it has been 4 years since our little Ashlynn was born! Our lives have been so blessed with her in our family. She is such a sweet little girl, and still loves to snuggle. Her laughs and smiles are contagious! She is very smart and can already read some words and knows all the families names by sight. She loves to dance...she never walks, it is jumping, skipping, twirling or tip toeing around and running. She has so much love to give! We are truly blessed to have her here with us. In my heart she will always be my baby! We love you Ashy! Happy Birthday!
