Every year we drive the Alpine Loop and we stop off at Cascade Springs to see the fish. No one knows how these fish survive or spawn. So we as a family go and marvel at what the Lord has created. This year was a little different, there have not been as many fish as years past. It was really sad, the ones that had survived were really big, however I think we saw about 5 or 6 fish in all. There was so much water this winter we thought the ponds would be overflowing. This was not the case at all. The ponds were actually dry and yet the water was flowing down the little waterfalls like mad. We are still wondering why there isn't any water in those ponds.
