The anticipation...they wanted so badly to get out of the truck and into the warm water.
The Warm Springs!
What a beautiful lane going down to the people who own the land for the warm springs and Crystal Ball Cave.
We arrived in Gandy a big old town of 5 houses! I can't not believe that there are people that seriously live out in the middle of nowhere. The kids at this time were very antsy to get out of the car and explore! We really wanted to go to a place called Crystal Ball Cave, however the land it sits on you have to call ahead and get permission. We took some pictures of where they lived. Their house was lined with Poplar Trees that were over 100 years old, they were absolutely incredible. There at the house they had dogs, peacocks, and cows roaming free. We talked to the couple that owned Crystal Ball Cave and they were headed off to a wedding, so we talked to them to find out where the warm springs were. We found them and Daddy and the girls enjoyed the time out of the truck and putting their feet in the warm water. It was too cold for the swimming suits we brought.
